SLC police seek help identifying suspect in attempted sexual assault

SALT LAKE CITY – Police in Salt Lake City are requesting the public’s help identifying the suspect in an alleged attempted sexual assault that occurred at a retail store in late June.

According to information from the Salt Lake City Police Department, the suspect pictured above allegedly entered the Target at 1110 South 300 West around 8:15 p.m. on June 30 and attempted to grope a female employee.

The suspect is described as being an adult male with darker skin who stands 5-feet 9-inches tall and weighs about 175 pounds. The man is believed to be between 35 and 45 years old, and he has black hair and dark eyes. He was last seen driving a silver Toyota Yaris.

Anyone who recognizes the man or who has knowledge of his whereabouts is asked to call police at 801-799-3000.
