SLC police seek help locating suspect in robbery at RadioShack

SALT LAKE CITY – Authorities are asking the public for help in locating a suspect who allegedly robbed an electronics store on Highland Drive Wednesday.

According to a press release from the Salt Lake City Police Department, 43-year-old Christopher Richardson went to the RadioShack near 2265 South Highland Drive at about 1:16 p.m., picked out several items, and threatened the clerk before leaving without paying for the items.

The man drove away in a 2004 silver Land Rover Discovery with Utah license plate X287SN.

Detectives said Richardson stands 5-feet 11-inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds. He is a white male who has brown hair and hazel eyes.

Anyone who sees the man or has knowledge of his whereabouts is asked to contact Salt Lake City PD.
