Live coverage: Sentencing for former teacher who pleaded guilty to sex with students

FARMINGTON, Utah — A sentencing hearing for a former Davis High School teacher who pleaded guilty to three counts of forcible sex abuse, which is a second-degree felony, unfolded Thursday, and the woman was ordered to serve two terms amounting to 2-30 years in prison and to undergo sex offender treatment.

Brianne Altice, 35, pleaded guilty to three counts of forcible sex abuse. In exchange for the plea, Davis County prosecutors dismissed 11 other felony counts, including three first-degree felony rape charges that carried potential life sentences. Click here for details on the plea deal.

    Yes what she did was wrong, But these Boys are just as Culpable as she is. They knew it was wrong, I can tell you when I was in school there were a Few Teachers that most of the guys in school would have jumped at the opportunity to hook up with. I have read comments on another article relating to this story, and I know for a fact that the same went for some of the Female Students and Male Teachers. The parents can say all they want but the Young men that were involved knew this could happen and they got involved with her anyway.

    What a waste! We are all still blinded to the fact are children are not as innocent as parents like to believe. They’re ate real child Malesters that get fat less of a sentence. Grow a pair America! And start seeing what’s right indent of you. It’s called reality
