TACOMA, Wash. - The child pornography trial of Steven Powell will not be in session Wednesday.

According to KCPQ, some of the detectives serving as witnesses are flying in from Utah and can't get to Tacoma until Thursday.

During opening statements Tuesday, prosecutors showed the jury some pretty uncomfortable pictures to prove Powell created child porn with his cameras.

This goes back to 2011, when police searched Powell’s home, while looking for evidence in the disappearance of Susan Cox Powell.

Instead, they found pictures they say Powell took of two young neighbor girls in their bathroom.

That led to Powell’s conviction on voyeurism charges.

He now faces several years in prison if convicted on child porn charges.
