SALT LAKE CITY -- Rodney Hood scored the final five points for the Jazz as they beat the Spurs 72-70 in the Utah Jazz Summer League.  Hood led the team in scoring for the second game in a row with 18 points.

The Jazz are the only undefeated team in the NBA Summer League with wins over the Celtics and the Spurs.

Dante Exum did not play in the game, he was out with a sprained ankle.  But other players fill in for the starting point guard.  Chris Johnson and Brock Motum each added 10 points, Jack Cooley had a team-high eight rebounds, and Bryce Cotton finished with eight points and four assists.

The Jazz will play the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday at EnergySolutions Arena.

Don’t get too comfortable. The Jazz are incapable of having a good season when it really counts.

Bad teams bring their best players to Summer League, which is why bad teams do the best in Summer League. It’s not something to celebrate.
