SALT LAKE CITY -- The Utah Jazz finished up their pre-draft workouts on Friday, logging well over 100 athletes in one of their busiest workout schedules to date. They are hoping to finalize a decision on how to use their No. 12 pick.

On June 13, they held their most star-studded workout.

"We had at least three guys who are first-round picks," said Walt Perrin, Utah Jazz VP of Player Personnel. "We haven't had that type of workout here before. The second workout today was probably guys who are more in the 12 range than some of the other workouts we brought in, so it hopefully helps clarify some things as we go forward."

Trey Lyles from Kentucky and Myles Turner from Texas were the two big men that the Jazz are eying.

"I just try and go out here and do what I could to go out and to the best of my ability show the coaches and the team what I can do," Trey Lyles said. "It doesn't matter who is on the court with me."

Myles Turner added: "We battle, man; it's all about competition."

Perrin spoke about both players' performances at the workout.

"Both of them performed well when they went against each other," he said. "They each have strengths that they went to, and we noticed some things that we need to work on."

For their last workout of the schedule, former Wisconsin forward Sam Dekker was the one to watch, bringing all 6'9" and 219 pounds to a possible wing position.

"There is a lot of good wings with Justise, Kelly, Stan and myself," Sam Dekker said about the upcoming draft. "[We're the] ones that are trying to fight, you know, be the top one or two wings going."

But, what makes Dekker different from the rest for the Utah Jazz?

"My versatility," Dekker said. "Playing inside with my size, I think I am one of the bigger wings at 6'9" but I can still play like a guard or forward in the post. That versatility will be big for me, especially in the way the NBA is kind of going in a way kind of position-less in a way. I feel like I'm getting in at a good time and I'll be able to show a lot."

The NBA draft starts at 5 p.m. (MT), Thursday, June 25.
