MURRAY, Utah — The Murray Police Department has released the names of three people who died Sunday morning in a murder-suicide incident at Vantana Courtyard Apartments.

Police said Johnathon Reeves, 30, shot and killed his fiancee, 34-year-old Jamie Salazar and their two-year-old son, Jordan Reeves, before turning the gun on himself.

Police responded to the apartment complex after receiving multiple reports of gunshots.

When officers arrived, they found three children in their pajamas running and screaming for help. Police said those children, ages 8-11, are Jamie Salazar’s children from a previous marriage and they are now with their father.
