Lehi garage, car fire cause thousands of dollars in damage

LEHI, Utah — While no injuries were reported, a garage and car fire in Lehi Saturday night resulted in thousands of dollars in damage.

At approximately 7:40 p.m., fire crews responded to 899 W. 1875 South where a garage attached to a home was fully engulfed in flames, said Capt. Tim Beck with Lehi Fire. A vehicle in the driveway also caught fire.

Beck said the blaze caused about $150,000 in damage. It is unknown how the fire started at this time.

The video above shows the garage and car engulfed in flames. The video was submitted by a FOX 13 News viewer.

The fire is currently under investigation.
