SALT LAKE CITY -- Utah families gathered on the steps of the state Capitol on Thursday to celebrate International Epilepsy Awareness Day and ask congress for new legislation.

The "Charlotte's Web medical access act of 2015" would remove therapeutic hemp and cannabidiol from the controlled substances act.

The bill would allow those with seizure disorders to have access to treatment.
