BOSTON– A morning news anchor at FOX 25 shared a heartwarming video of his nephew on Facebook.
The video features his 15-year-old nephew, Ben, and his girlfriend, Taylor. He said they both have Down Syndrome and Ben had a bad day and was running late to visit Taylor. The video above is his apology, which was recorded so his dad could see it. Lavanchy wrote:
“The reason I want to share this with you is to show you that kids with DS, while they have challenges, are just like everyone else…they’re kids. They are also blessed to have great parents and friends. There are kids at their schools who look out for Ben and Taylor and make sure they’re included in everything and not bullied or teased. I can’t tell you how proud I am of all of them.”
