LAS VEGAS — A Magna women struck it rich Saturday while playing slots at Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino, winning more than $10.7 million.

Trinidad T. was in town with a friend who was playing in Westgate’s blackjack tournament. While at the casino she struck the progressive jackpot on an IGT Megabucks $1 slot machine, according to a press release from the casino.

“We’re thrilled that she won on our property,” said David Siegel, CEO of Westgate Resorts. “What an exciting weekend for our lucky winner. Westgate Las Vegas is proving to be a fantastic place to stay and play. This huge win adds to the excitement of all of that we have going on at the property, including new shows, renovated rooms and dining experiences.”

With the winnings, Trinidad T. plans to visit her family in the Philippines that she has not seen in several years.

According to the release, Trinidad T. said she’s always envisioned buying a yellow Mustang and will make that dream a reality.

The Magna woman is also an Elvis fan and plans to return to Westgate Las Vegas in April for the grand opening of the newly announced “Graceland Presents ELVIS: The Exhibition – The Show – The Experience.”
