FLORIDA– It’s America’s favorite pastime. Baseball.

However, for one BYU graduate, playing baseball with his son might not be his favorite pastime after this.

Check out the video of Trevor and 5-year-old Riggs Winn that’s going viral. Ouch.

The good news is that the ball didn’t hit Trevor in the face. His wife, Lesley, tells Fox 13 the baseball hit his hand that was holding the camera, “Thank goodness he was trying to film, that camera saved his face.”

She added they couldn’t be prouder of their son, between his form and his manners.  “It portrays Riggs perfectly, a die hard sports enthusiast with just the softest heart.”

Even though they live in Florida now, they are still huge Cougar fans. Maybe we will see Riggs in a BYU baseball uniform someday? Lesley hopes so. “All our eggs are in Riggs’ basket for playing a sport at the Y!”

So have they played any more baseball since this incident? “Are you kidding?” Lesley said. “He had me throwing pitches to him before school this morning!”
