ARVADA, Colo. — Police have a suspect in custody after they discovered a home that exploded overnight was spray-painted with the words, "My wife is a cheater."
According to Fox 13's sister station, KDVR, debris and patio furniture flew into the front yard and the street as a result of the explosion.
Police declined comment on whether the graffiti was connected to the explosion.
KDVR reported a family with three young children lived in the home.
“It’s a younger family,” neighbor Fred Holman told KDVR. “They’ve lived here about five years, maybe a little longer. They’re very nice people, very good neighbors. I would never think anything like this would happen.”
