MURRAY, Utah – A non-denominational Christian church that has been holding services in South Salt Lake warehouses for more than a decade now has a new home in Murray.

On Sunday, K2 The Church held the grand opening of its new location at the former 49th Street Galleria in Murray. In addition to meetings for adults, Adventure Canyon allows kids to learn about God inside a room feature a large ark and jungle scenery.

Leaders say K2 The Church is designed to let you grow your relationship with God at your own pace.

“I think as a church, we do a good job of influencing and being part of our community enough that people are intrigued by who we are and what we do and that curiosity is what brought them in today,” said Luther Elliss, founder of the church.

The church has more than 1,300 people come to worship every week. Services are held at 5049 Murray Blvd. and meet every Sunday at 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. For more, visit www.k2thechurch.com.
