Man arrested in connection with double stabbing in Ogden, police say

OGDEN, Utah — An Ogden City man was arrested in connection with the stabbing of two men in Ogden early Sunday morning, according to police officials.

At approximately 12:50 a.m., Ogden City police responded to a report of a stabbing in the 200 block of 25th Street.

When officers arrived they discovered a fight between three men had taken place on the street just outside Brewskis Bar, according to a press release from Ogden City police.

During the altercation, two men, ages 26 and 31, were stabbed in torso.

The victims were transported to an area hospital. The 26-year-old man is in critical condition and the 31-year-old man is in fair condition.

Romido Bustos, 28, of Ogden City, was identified as a suspect in the stabbing and taken into custody at the scene, the press release states.

The weapon used in the alleged assault has also been recovered.

Bustos was booked into Weber County Jail on two counts of aggravated assault.
