FOUND: Runaway Provo teen who suffers from mental health issues found

UPDATE: Authorities confirmed the missing Provo teen has been found safe in Price.

Provo Police said a Carbon County deputy found 15-year-old Hunter Crane early Monday morning.

PROVO, Utah – Police in Provo are asking the public for help locating a teen who ran away from home, and they said the teen has been diagnosed with mental health disorders and has a history or running away but doesn’t usually return home on his own.

According to information from the Provo Police Department, 15-year-old Hunter Wyhatt Crane ran away from a home in the area of 1500 East and 800 South around 1 p.m. Sunday. Police said the boy’s mother said he has run away before but doesn’t usually return on his own.

The teen, pictured right, is described as being 5-feet 6-inches tall. He is a white male with brown hair and blue eyes who weighs about 120 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with green stripes on the front, a neon green T-shirt, blue jeans and brown/plaid boat shoes.

The information from police stated the teen suffers from several diagnosed mental health disorders. Anyone who sees the teen or who has knowledge of his whereabouts is asked to call police at 801-852-6210.
