I can’t believe January is over. Man, it went by really, really fast!
So the saying, “when it rains it pours” holds true for me this week: I thought I was out of the woods after I passed two kidney stones, but when I visited the doctor I was told that there is actually a third stone floating around in my bladder and it is too big to pass, so I will need to have a procedure to blast the 1-inch in diameter stone.
I don’t share this news in the hopes of getting sympathy or pity but more to express my frustration that I cannot fully work out the way I want to. If I engage in rigorous exercise or activity, I experience a lot of pain and blood in my urine, so I have to take everything at 50 percent intensity.
I am grateful that I am at least able to participate somewhat. Thank you for all the kind thoughts and prayers on my behalf.
Have a Budahful Day!
