TUCSON, Ariz. — The Runnin’ Utes were on the road to take on an equally talented team, the No. 10 Arizona Wildcats on Saturday.

Utah went into the McKale Center with a higher ranking than Arizona at No. 8 in the country and leaders of the PAC-12.

The Utes came out hot at the beginning of the game, but quickly cooled off as the game went on. Delon Wright was held to just 10 points the whole game, with seven of those coming in the first minutes of the game.

Arizona took over the game in the second half, shooting 49 percent against Utah’s tough defense.

Utah went into the game as the PAC-12’s best rebounding team, but the Wildcats out-boarded them by 21, including 17 on the offensive glass–leading to 18 second-chance points.

Brandon Taylor ended the night with 12 points and Jordan Loveridge scored 18 points and eight rebounds.

This win for the Wildcats extends their at-home winning streak to 32, which is the second longest such record in Division I history.

The final score was 69-51.

The Utes come back to Salt Lake City to take on Washington State Wednesday, January 21.
