SALT LAKE CITY — Officials with Utah’s own Ballet West say their costumes for “Swan Lake” were recently used for a more modern performance: specifically the music video for Taylor Swift’s hit single, “Shake it Off.”

Ballet West tweeted the information and later confirmed to FOX 13 News that the tutus in the video, which you can view below, came from the ballet company in Salt Lake City.

Joshua Jones of Ballet West further stated they are working to bring the costume Taylor Swift was wearing in the video to town, so they can put it on display at the Capitol Theatre in downtown Salt Lake City, which is where the ballet company is based. He said next week they hope to know whether or not they will be able to bring the costume in for display.

If you want to see Ballet West’s performance of Swan Lake, the production is scheduled to run February 6 through February 15. Click here to visit Ballet West’s website for more details.
