Well, it is the first week of 2015, and it was great one. I had some time off for some family R&R–starting with tons of volleyball and basketball and working out, plus a mini escape in Las Vegas.
I am working on my goal to be under 300 pounds by the end of January, which means I have three weeks left. Some of my New Year’s resolutions are to relax a little (more time permitting) and learn to speak a second language, like Spanish or Tongan.
I hope we all can have a great start to 2015 and can maintain it. I am loving my time coaching the Jordan High School girl’s basketball program and am proud of the progress we are making as a team.
I am so grateful for all of those who have had a hand in helping realize a life beyond sitting on the sidelines or at home, as I am now an active participant. Thank you Doctors Cottam & Richards, BMI Utah, Salt Lake Regional Medical Center, my family & friends, FOX13, and all of you.
