SALT LAKE CITY -- A lot of Utah Jazz fans were seen wearing their Millsap jerseys last Friday when Paul Millsap was in town with the Atlanta Hawks.

They may be able to break out the number 24 jersey again with a new addition to the Jazz squad. The number may not match, but the name on the back will be.

Paul Millsap's little brother Elijah, is officially a Jazzman.

This is 27-year-old Elijah Millsap’s first time on a NBA team, playing in the NBA developmental league for four years and on three different European teams.

Elijah Millsap said he is excited to be a Jazzman, but he did not hear about being on the team from the Utah Jazz. He said his brother told him first.

"They reached out to him first and he did some kind of crazy joke to try and make me scared, and it ended up being for my best," Elijah Millsap said about his brother Paul. "It was funny, and I won't disclose what it is right now but he's a character. He always made me work for things but he's my biggest supporter and I appreciate him for that."

Elijah Millsap averaged 20.6 points in the 19 games he played with the Bakersfield Jam this season.

Elijah Millsap's contract is currently set for 10 days. If the Jazz offer Millsap two 10-day contracts and he plays them out, the Jazz will have to sign him for the rest of the season if they want to keep him.

The Utah Jazz will play the Indiana Pacers tonight at the Energy Solutions Arena. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
