Man stabbed at New Year’s Eve party in Sandy

SANDY, Utah — A Sandy man is recovering after he was stabbed four times at a New Year’s Eve party.

Sandy police said a fight broke out at a home near 90th South and 300 East around 10 p.m. Wednesday.

The victim was stabbed in the neck and back, and police found him several blocks away from the scene.

The man was taken to IMC, where he underwent surgery.

Officers are still looking for several people involved, and they think the fight was over drugs.
