Report: 2 injured after police helicopter goes down in Las Vegas neighborhood

LAS VEGAS – Two officers have reportedly been injured after a police helicopter went down in a neighborhood near downtown Las Vegas Wednesday.

FOX 5 in Las Vegas reports the two officers were rushed to area hospitals after a Las Vegas Metro Police Department Helicopter went down in the area of Bonanza Road and 23rd Street.

Blue Line Across America tweeted an image of the helicopter, see below for that photo.

It was not clear if the helicopter was responding to an emergency or if it was between calls. Specific details about the crash and nature and extent of the injuries were not clear.
