2 men arrested for murder in Salt Lake City after drug deal ends in shooting

SALT LAKE CITY – Police have arrested two men believed to be responsible for murdering a man in Salt Lake City.

Officials said 29-year-old Austin James Herring and 31-year-old Richard Michael Warner for the shooting downtown Friday.

Authorities said a gold four-door car pulled up near a man walking near 560 W. and 200 S.

The driver and passenger got out of the car, talked to the pedestrian and then fired a handgun, killing the man.

Police said the shooting was drug-related.

The victim’s identity has not been released at this time.

    Thank you all for your help in finding the two suspects. They will be put away for a long time and won’t be able to do this to another family.


    With these two pukes in jail there will be four more to take their place. The good news is that these two fine upstanding gentlemen won’t be able to make the next police brutality demonstration sponsored by their friends.
