Police: Bank employees threatened during robbery, suspect still on the loose

SALT LAKE CITY — Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of robbing a bank in Salt Lake City last week.

The robbery occurred at Wells Fargo Bank, 778 S. Main Street, on Nov. 25.

At approximately 4:25 p.m., the suspect walked into the bank and brandished a weapon, threatened employees and ordered everyone to the floor, according to Salt Lake City police.

Police say he demanded money and a teller complied. The suspect then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as Hispanic with a slim build between 25-30 years old.

The suspect is also said to be 5 feet 8 inches tall.

He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, gray sweatpants and a blue bandana.
