WASHINGTON – Revenge is a dish best served cold, and in the case of a Washington, D.C. couple, stinky.

After falling victim to thieves who swiped packages off of their front porch several times, they decided to teach them a lesson with a package filled with poop.

Friday after a suspect was caught on video walking up and down the sidewalk, stealing a package from the porch of a home and taking off.

The couple, who didn’t want to be identified, said it was the third package stolen from their yard since October.

The couple got mad and then they decided to get even.

They placed a fake package outside and moved their camera to a better angle if the suspect hit again.

The suspect played right into their trap Thursday and got away with a package… full of dog feces.

And now video of the suspect is being shared all over the internet.

The couple said they hope he is caught and they have since changed the way the receive packages.

I would have put a 2 liter of diet coke it in just empty enough so that I could tape a package of mentos inside the top part out of reach of the diet coke when sitting upright. I would unscrew the lid a little so it would blow the lid off and spread diet coke all over inside the box. Just when he moves it, it would set off a chain reaction and hopefully blow diet coke all over him. Probably scare him half to death and teach him not to do that again.

I think this was funny, but it would have been smarter to buy a crappy cell phone with a gps, activate it, and wait until he got home. Then you could show the police all of the evidence, and go straight to his house!

man i would love to lay a trap for a guy like that. place a package out side of my house and wait for him. then go out and “educate” this guy by having a “conversation without words”, i have had to have this kind of “conversation” a few times with people and when its all said an done they always “agree” with me. its typically a short to long “conversation” about how to “turning a criminal into a victim.”

the after the “conversation” the police can come and join the process
