Fire officials discuss Christmas tree safety

A merrily crackling blaze may be a Christmas tradition for many people, but firefighters said they want to make sure fires during the Christmas season are intentional.

Jason Asay of the Salt Lake City Fire Department came to the FOX 13 News Studio Wednesday to discuss the dangers of fires caused by Christmas trees and the ways people can help prevent such fires from breaking out.
