All Clear: Reported suspicious bag at South Salt Lake UTA building is not a threat

SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah – Officials said the suspicious bag reported at a UTA Meadowbrook office building is not a threat.

South Salt Lake officials said it was left by a Questar employee.

The bag was found attached to a pole near a Questar gas line Wednesday.

Crews were called to the UTA station near 188 W. and 3900 S. after the suspicious bag was found near UTA fuel storage.

Authorities evacuated the area as a precaution.

Everything is back to normal at this time.

The Salt Lake Community College Meadowbrook Campus and the Salt Lake County Jail are nearby.
