Officials identify artist accused of defacing Utah National Parks with ‘Creepy Tings’

Authorities have identified the woman accused of vandalism at various national parks as 21-year-old Casey Nocket of New York and said they are looking at potential charges in the case.

Officials said vandalism has been reported in 10 national parks in the West, three of them are in Utah.

According to authorities, an Instagram artist has been visiting parks in Arizona, California, Colorado, Oregon and Utah where she is allegedly leaving behind images in acrylic paint.

Each image features her Instagram name “Creepy-Tings.”

The vandal left her mark at Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon and the Canyonlands in Utah.

That National Park Service is investigating.
