Hands-free devices also a distraction while driving, U of U study shows

SALT LAKE CITY -- Utah’s distracted driving law does not allow motorists to manipulate their electronic devices while driving – but hands-free technologies like Siri are OK to use.

A study from the University of Utah shows that while the hands-free option is legal, it may not be safe.

Author of the study Joel Cooper was in studio to talk about his findings.
