PROVO, Utah -- It’s been 36 years since the Utah State Aggies have won in Provo against Brigham Young University.

The Cougars didn’t just lose the game, they also lost their quarterback, Taysom Hill for the rest of the season.

The dream of going undefeated is squashed for the Cougars, they now have to focus on how to recover offensively without their star quarterback.

Hill went down in the second quarter and didn’t come back. Christian Stewart stepped in for Hill for the rest of the game.

“Really difficult to watch Taysom go down,” said BYU football coach Bronco Mendenhall. “Early report it is a broken leg – lower bone in his body. Surgery tomorrow morning at 7:30 a.m. and he’ll be out for the year. A three- to four-month recovery is what the early sign is.”

The final score was a 35-20 win for the Aggies.
