Man who arrived at park with stab wounds in serious condition

SALT LAKE CITY – Police are investigating after a man arrived at a park with serious stab wounds Sunday.

Lt. Jeff Kendrick of the Salt Lake City Police Department said a 20-year-old male rode his bike into Fairmont Park, 1049 Sugarmont Drive, around 4:30 p.m. Sunday and told people there he had been stabbed.

The man was taken to a hospital in serious condition.

Kendrick said the victim has not been forthcoming about the details of the stabbing, and police are still working to determine where the stabbing occurred.
