Orem couple delivers baby in parking lot, audio of 911 call released

OREM, Utah — A family delivered a baby in a parking lot in Orem earlier this week, and now the audio from the 911 call has been released.

A man called 911 Monday when a baby started to come before the mother could make it to a hospital, and a 911 dispatcher helped talk the father through the process of delivering the baby in a parking lot, located in the area of 1600 S. State St.

    That dispatcher was awesome! She really kept her cool and helped to relax the new father. Poor mom, screaming in the background, though. I remember all too well! :)
