PARK CITY, Utah – The Park City Film Music Festival is underway, and the experience revolves around the music in films.

About 75 filmmakers and composers are screening their work at the festival, which also features seminars where they teach the craft of providing the music for a film, an art known as scoring.

Event organizers said this is the only festival they know of in the United States where a filmmaker and composer submit a film based on the music and the way that music works within the film.
