SPRINGVILLE, Utah — A Springville couple’s $2 million pool was recently featured on an episode of The Pool Master on Animal Planet.
“The Mountain” features five waterfalls, a 300-foot lazy river, a diving rock, a hidden grotto, several hidden pathways inside the mountain and a tunnel deep enough for scuba diving.
According to Animal Planet, the 140-foot long and 60-foot wide pool was built for a homeowner who loves the mountains and scuba diving.
The centerpiece of the 360,000-gallon pool is a 90-foot manmade mountain that “emulates the natural surroundings perfectly,” according to Anthony Archer-Wills, host of The Pool Master.
There are two bridges winding to the top of the mountain, as well as a hidden waterslide that tumbles 60-feet through the mountain to the pool below.
If that’s not enough, “The Mountain” also features a full kitchen complete with granite countertops, stainless steel cabinets, an 8-burner grille and a refrigerator.
One of the main reasons the pool was built was to allow the homeowners to practice their scuba diving.
To explore the bottom of the pool, you must be scuba certified. From an excluded entry point inside the mountain, a 54-foot long and 5-foot wide tunnel leads into the pool, allowing scuba divers to plunge to 26 feet.
Animal Planet did not name the Springville couple featured on the show.
A pool like “The Mountain” can be yours for a cool $2 million.
