This could add to the current issues with flash flooding in Carbon County and landslides in North Salt Lake.

Storms should subside after sunset in the northern part of the state.

Strong thunderstorms are expected to hit Tooele County Tuesday according to the National Weather Service.

According to the weather service the storm will bring torrential rain, which might cause minor street and urban flooding.

Pea-size hail and winds in excess speeds of 30 mph are also possible, according to the weather service.

Areas impacted included Tooele, Stansbury Park, Stockton, Erda and Lake Point.

Updates on this storm will be provided as they become available.

Southern Utah has a much lower chance of seeing any rain.

Wednesday should be dry but the chance for more rain returns Thursday.

We will dry out Friday through the start of next week.
