LAYTON, Utah — Layton police discovered the bodies of a married couple Monday afternoon when they went to their home to conduct a welfare check.

The bodies of 51-year-old Shauna Anderson and 47-year-old Larry Anderson were discovered inside a home at Quail Ridge Trailer Park, 935 E 3000 N.

Lt. Travis Lyman, Layton PD, the welfare check was conducted after Anderson’s boss contacted police and reported that he hadn’t reported to work.

Lyman said there were no obvious signs of foul play and, according to fire officials, carbon monoxide levels were normal.

Layton police are waiting for autopsy reports.
