With more than 50 million cyclists on the road, keeping them safe isn’t always easy.

But a new pair of innovative gloves might help.

Zach Vorhies is a former Googler and an avid biker.

He and friends came up with the idea of Zackees Turn Signal Gloves.

They pack led lights that serve as turn signals.

Just touch two contact points together to activate them.

Batteries inside the washable gloves last three to six months.
