PROVO — A teenage girl charged in connection with the murder of a Utah County Sheriff’s deputy is asking the courts to move her trial to West Jordan.

In a court filing Wednesday, Megan Grunwald’s attorneys asked a judge to move her upcoming trial out of Utah County, citing the news coverage surrounding the death of Sheriff’s deputy Cory Wride.
