Search and rescue crews assist injured hiker near Ogden

OGDEN, Utah — Search and rescue crews responded to Waterfall Canyon near Ogden Tuesday morning to assist an injured hiker.

According to Sgt. Lane Findlay, Weber County Sheriff’s Office, a 19-year-old man fell and broke his ankle in a rugged area about a half mile from the waterfall.

Findlay’s office was notified of the need for search and rescue responders shortly before noon.

    this isn’t water fall canyon this is Ogden canyon. you can see the weber h2o line that crosses the ogden canyon in the back ground of the pictures
