Oldest woman in the U.S. celebrates milestone birthday

INKNSTER, Mich. – A woman who has lived during three different centuries has turned 115-years-old, which officials said makes her the oldest woman in the United States.

Jeralean Talley was born May 23, 1899 in Montrose Georgia and has lived in Detroit since the 1960s.

Talley has never driven a car, saying that the one time she attempted she hit the wrong pedal—which made her never want to try it again.

She credits her longevity to "the lord", see the video above for her interview. Experts said the oldest woman in the world is 116 and lives in Japan.
