This week has been quite eventful with my wife graduating and the end of high school softball season.
I had a horrible migraine head ache that came on suddenly Thursday after our end of season banquet. I was completely shut down and wanted nothing more than to curl up in a dark corner. I was close to calling in sick this morning but was happy to wake up with the migraine gone.
I’m still unable to work out at the gym but am doing a lot of walking, which my foot specialist, Dr. Royall, said is all I can do right now. I rediscovered young coconuts we call Niu. It is our water bottle in the islands, so very healthy.
My highlight this week was meeting with cartoon artist Ron Campbell, who, unbeknownst to me, is in a small way part of my childhood and upbringing. Mr. Campbell is responsible, or partly responsible, for illustration creations like Pebbles & Bam Bam, The Jetsons, The Smurfs, The Rugrats, and Scooby Doo.
