Big Budah’s blog: Grilling and healing

Posted

We had a lot of warm weather this week, and I was able to do one of my favorite things to do: BBQ. I spent an afternoon grilling terri-burgers for the family. If you’ve never had a teriyaki burger, you’re missing out.

The healing of my foot is slow and frustrating. I had to have a surgical procedure to correct what doctors call a “pump bump”, so named because many of those who suffer from it are women who develop the bone spur after wearing pumps.

No progress report really about my weight loss this week. No bad reactions to any food, no cravings, no lapses and no regret. All this means to me is that all is going well.

The highlight of my week was hanging out at the Midvale Cinco De Mayo celebration.

Thank you to Doctors Cottom and Richards, BMI Utah and Salt Lake Regional Medical Center for the change in my life, and thank you to all of you for your ongoing support.
