NY Strip Steaks and Roasted Herb Potatoes (05.06.14)

  • 4 NY Strip Steaks
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon rosemary, chopped
  • 2 pounds potatoes, any kind, cut into small quarters
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 425Ā°F.


Mix oregano, paprika, thyme, rosemary, onion, garlic powder, salt and pepper in small bowl. Set aside.

Sprinkle half the seasoning on each side of the steaks.

Toss potatoes with oil in large bowl. Sprinkle remaining seasoning mixture over potatoes. Toss to coat well. Spread potatoes in single layer on foil-lined 15x10x1-inch baking pan. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until potatoes are tender and golden brown.

Bring a greased grill up to high heat. Cook steaks for 4-5 minutes on each side or to desired doneness. Serve steak with potatoes.
