Expert offers emergency preparedness tips on eve of Great Utah Shakeout

SALT LAKE CITY – On Thursday, people all over Utah will take part in a massive earthquake drill to help make people aware of what they should do in case of a quake.

The Great Utah Shakeout takes place Thursday at 10:15 a.m., and on Wednesday Joe Dougherty of the Utah Department of Public Safety's Division of Emergency Management came to the FOX 13 News Studio talk about the event, earthquake safety and emergency preparedness.
