COLUMBUS, Ohio. — A new study finds a quick candy bar could potentially save your marriage.

Experts believe low levels of blood sugar may be the culprit of starting marital arguments. In fact, they say it makes spouses "hangry," a combination of hungry and angry.

Researchers from Ohio State University surveyed more than 100 married couples for three weeks. Researchers asked them to stick pins in a voodoo doll indicating levels of aggressive feelings while monitoring their blood sugar levels.

They found the lower the sugar level, the more pins pushed into the doll. Researchers say we need glucose for self control and low blood sugar can make spouses touchy.
