If you’re looking to get married anytime soon, you might want to start saving up now. A survey by found the average wedding cost $30,000 in 2013.

The venue and catering expenses ate up $13,000 of the budget. Other big ticket items include engagement rings, reception bands, flowers, and wedding photos.

A lot of the cost also depends on location– if you plan to get hitched in a big city, you can expect to pay a premium for the wedding.
