SALT LAKE CITY – A man accused of sexually abusing young boys, primarily from families who entered the country illegally, and then blackmailing those boys into selling drugs is facing a host of new charges.

Victor Rax initially faced 34 felony charges, but to date the Utah Attorney General’s Office has filed a total of 63 charges against Rax.

According to information from The Utah Attorney General’s Office, the charges were filed on behalf of 16 victims, 15 of whom were children at the time of the alleged offenses, which officials said occurred between 2006 and 2014. Rax allegedly used the boys to sell drugs in Salt Lake County schools.

FOX 13 News cameras were present as the Attorney General’s Office’s SECURE Strike Force arrested Rax on February 11. Officials said Rax has been deported from the U.S. numerous times, only to later return.

Bail has been denied.
