PROVO -- Brigham Young University's head football coach Bronco Mendenhall talked to the media after Tuesday’s practice for the first time since the news broke that star running back Jamaal Williams was arrested last month on charges of underage drinking.

Williams pleaded not guilty to those charges, and he has a court date scheduled for May 7.

In the meantime, Williams will continue to practice with the team.

Mendenhall said he’s already addressed the situation, and Williams is in great standings with the football team.
