Party leaders preview upcoming caucuses

Max Roth spoke with James Evans, the Republican Party Chair and Matt Lyon, executive director of the Utah Democratic Party on Saturday.

Salt Lake City – The Utah Democratic Party and Utah Republican Party will hold their party's caucus meetings in neighborhoods across the state this week. The Democratic caucus meetings will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 and the Republican caucus meetings will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2014. At those meetings, candidates, elected officials, and members of each party will gather together to kick off the 2014 campaign cycle, select precinct leadership and delegates, and discuss important issues facing our state and nation.

WHEN: Democratic caucus meetings: Tuesday, March 18, 2014
Republican caucus meetings: Thursday, March 20, 2014

Most of the Democratic caucus meetings will begin at 7 PM. All of the Republican caucus meetings will be begin at 7 PM.
